Kevin Kaska wrote a big band composition for the
motion picture "Public Enemies" entitled "Ballroom Bounce".
He also collaborated on "Chicago Shake" with
Bruce Fowler, Harry Garfield, and Don Nelson.
Both works are used as underscore and contribute
to the feel of the story set in the 1930s.

Kevin Kaska wrote the score to the upcoming film Jump! directed
by Joshua Sinclair, starring Patrick Swayze. The release was
scheduled for March 2008.

In January 2006 Kevin Kaska traveled to Wellington, New Zealand to
produce an album with world renowned euphonium player Adam Frey
( and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
Frey also commissioned Kaska for two new works that will appear on the
CD (Ballade and Majestic Journey). Boston Pops associate conductor
Bruce Hangen conducted the orchestra for this exciting recording that
will be released this July 2006.

Harpist Michelle Gott will be performing Kaska's Harp Concertino with
the Green Valley High School Concert Band this April 9, 2006 at
Carnegie Hall,
New York City.
